This Balmenach is a fifteen-year-old single malt from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice range. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled on 5 March 2024 at a cask strength of 61.8% ABV.
It matured in a refill sherry hogshead, and 287 bottles were filled.
The nose is rich, with sultana, clove, cinnamon and milk chocolate. The palate brings fudge, strawberries, demerara sugar, vanilla and stewed berries. The finish is full, with hints of orange zest and oak.
