Balmenach 9 Years Old is a single malt from the Balmenach Distillery, known for its heavy, robust Speyside malt. Thompson Bros. bottled it after nine years in a single sherry cask. Maturation in that single sherry cask is said to bring notes of chocolate, cloves and red peppercorns. The whisky is bottled without chill-filtration or artificial colouring.
