This is a Banff single malt from the Highlands, distilled in 1976 and matured in a refill sherry butt. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it in September 2005 as part of their Connoisseurs Choice series. Banff Distillery has since closed. Gordon & MacPhail, an independent bottler, released the whisky after close to three decades in cask.
