Banff – 1982 Rare Malts Selection 21 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Banff (Highland). Aged 21 years, bottled at 57.1% ABV, 70cl. Distilled in 1982 and bottled in April 2004 as a 21 year old, there was only one release of Banff under the Rare Malts Selection. In fact, this is the only official bottling of Banff single malt ever to have been released. A malt distillery that was located in the Highland region of Scotland and operated until 1983 when it was closed by the Distillers Company. Primarily run for the provision of blended Scotch brands, it has only been officially released once and is generally confined to independent bottlings.
