Dalmore 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt matured for 18 years in bourbon and old sherry casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle and is described as complex, firm and bittersweet.
The nose offers plenty of vanilla and overripe orange, with peach and pineapple. On the palate come Colombian coffee, nuts and a generous amount of dark chocolate, with rosemary, truffle and a hint of strawberry. The finish is long, with bitter chocolate dominant.
