The Dalmore Sherry Cask Select 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt finished in American and European oak sherry casks, seasoned with a blend of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherries created specifically for The Dalmore. The distillery has worked with the sherry house González Byass for over a century, and its casks add nutty richness to the house chocolate and orange character.
The nose opens with caramelised orange, ginger and sultanas laced with honey. On the palate there are dark chocolate and crushed almonds with a dusting of cinnamon.
