The Dalmore Port Wood is a single malt matured first in American white oak bourbon casks, then finished in port pipes from W&J Graham. It is bottled at 46.5% ABV.
The Dalmore draws on a relationship with the sherry house González Byass that goes back more than a century, and on casks chosen from wineries and bodegas around the world. Here the distillery's weighty whisky is joined by thick port-cask fruit and spice.
It is described as creamy and fruity, with a controlled sweetness.
