Barber Lee Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Barber Lee Bottled in Bond Rye Whiskey is a California rye from Barber Lee Spirits, a grain-to-glass craft distillery in a 1910 brick warehouse in downtown Petaluma, Sonoma County. It is a single barrel of the distillery's best rye, selected at two to three years old and then set aside for a further three to four years. Bottled in Bond means the whiskey comes from one distillery and one season, is aged at least four years in a bonded warehouse and is bottled at exactly 100 proof, here 50% ABV. The standard dates from the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. It is described as dark, dense and spicy, with cinnamon, clove and pepper over caramel, toasted oak and dark fruit, and a long, spicy finish.
