A Barbera d'Alba DOC from Piazzo Comm. Armando, made in the hills of Alba.
It is produced from carefully selected grapes and traditional vinification, then aged in wooden barrels, giving a rounded structure and aromas of ripe red fruit, spice and a light balsamic note. On the palate it is vibrant, with pleasant acidity balancing the softness and a long, enveloping finish.
It suits grilled meats, aged cheeses and mushroom dishes.
