This Collaborative Series bottling from Bardstown Bourbon Company is a blend of 7 year old rye and 17 year old bourbon, made with Foursquare, the Barbados rum distillery.
The blend was aged for a further 23 months in Foursquare rum barrels, chosen to bring out Barbados character.
The palate balances rye spice with aged oak, with plantain, toasted almond, clove, coconut, peanut, orange zest and raisin. The finish is long, with baked fruit, lingering spice and caramel sweetness.
