Bardstown Bourbon Company – Origin Series Rye Whiskey (75cl, 48%)

Bardstown Bourbon Company Origin Series Rye Whiskey is a six-year-old Kentucky straight rye, bottled at 48% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It comes from the company's first fully in-house line, distilled, aged and bottled on its own Bardstown campus and launched in 2023. The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% malted barley. The whiskey was finished for up to six months in 'zebra barrels', hybrid casks made from alternating staves of toasted American oak and cherry wood. Tasting notes describe ripe cherry and toasted oak with white flower, dill and cinnamon, a rich, round mouthfeel full of fruit and a distinctive finish.
