Bardstown Bourbon Company – Origin Series Wheated Bottled in Bond Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

This is a six-year-old wheated bourbon from the Origin Series by Bardstown Bourbon Company, bottled in bond at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. It was distilled, aged and bottled at the company's own distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. The mash bill is 68% corn, 20% Kentucky wheat and 12% malted barley, with wheat in place of rye. As a bottled in bond whiskey, it comes from a single distilling season at one distillery and was aged in a bonded warehouse. The brand's tasting notes describe baked peach with cream, cocoa and hints of lemon, a smooth mouthfeel of stone fruit and toffee, and an enduring finish.
