Barelegs Islay Single Malt (70cl, 46%)

Barelegs is an Islay single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from one of the better-known distilleries on the east side of the island and is bottled by the Islay Boys, Donald and Mackay, who also created Flatnose. It is a peated malt in the Islay manner, though not a heavy one: the peat is delicate rather than powerful. It is typically described as having a pleasing crispness on the palate and a good length.
