A Barolo DOCG from the Bricco delle Viole cru, made from Nebbiolo. The vineyard is noted for its exposure and calcareous marl soil, which give the wine elegance and aromatic depth.
It shows a bright garnet red colour, tending towards orange with age. The nose brings ripe red fruit, cherry and raspberry, with rose, violet, spice, tobacco and a light leather note. On the palate it is solid yet elegant, with fine persistent tannins and typical Nebbiolo acidity.
The finish is long and persistent, with floral and fruity notes and a pleasant mineral quality.
