A Barolo DOCG from Mario Marengo, made from Nebbiolo grown in the Barolo area of Piedmont. The wine is vinified by traditional methods, with long fermentations at controlled temperatures followed by ageing in oak barrels. It shows the typical garnet red colour of Nebbiolo and offers a rich, complex bouquet. On the palate it is elegant, with tannic structure, lively acidity and aromatic depth, leading to a long, persistent finish.
