A Barolo from Serralunga, fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 28 C with daily pump-overs over 15-20 days. It then matures for three years in new oak barrels and is not filtered. It has an intense ruby colour with garnet reflections, a complex nose of fruit and spice, and a palate that combines rich structure with easy drinking. The finish is long and warming, with sour cherry and mint.
