Boasso Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG is a red wine from Nebbiolo grown in Serralunga d'Alba, in a magnum. It has an intense garnet colour. The nose shows red berries, ripe cherry and plum, with dried rose, liquorice, tobacco and sweet spice, plus earthy, leather and black pepper notes from large cask ageing. The palate has robust but integrated tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish with dark chocolate and a hint of truffle.
