Barolo DOCG Serralunga Franco Boasso (15%)

A Barolo from Serralunga, made from grapes harvested by hand in mid-October. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at 28 C with daily pump-overs for 15-20 days, followed by three years in new oak barrels. No filtration is carried out, and the wine continues to refine in bottle. It shows an intense ruby colour with garnet reflections, with aromas of fruit and spice. On the palate it combines rich structure with easy drinking, and the finish is long and warming, with notes of sour cherry and mint.
