This is Barton 1792 Full Proof, a Kentucky straight bourbon distilled by Sazerac at the Barton 1792 distillery. It is bottled at 62.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The distillery is one of Kentucky's oldest. Over the years it has also been called Barton and Thomas Moore, and it succeeded the earlier Mattingly & Moore distillery.
The nose is dried oak, maple syrup, burnt sugar and a hint of nutmeg. The palate brings more burnt sugar with a little smoke, toffee and spiced oak, and the finish is a lasting cinnamon warmth with flaky pastry.
