Very Old Barton is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in 2018 at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. This version was made for the Japanese market.
The bourbon was distilled by the Sazerac company at the Barton 1792 distillery, one of Kentucky's oldest, which has also been known simply as Barton and as Thomas Moore over the years.
The site was badly damaged in 2018, when both halves of one of its main warehouses collapsed in the same month.
