A Bas Armagnac from Samalens, matured for twelve years in oak casks. It is deep amber in colour. The nose shows robust notes of vanilla and prune, with cocoa and toasted wood. On the palate it is harmonious, balancing sweetness and spice, with dried apricot, baked apple, black pepper and cinnamon, leading to a long, warm finish with woody and spicy notes. It can be enjoyed neat, perhaps with a small piece of dark chocolate.
