Samalens Bas Armagnac Single 8 ans is an Armagnac from the Armagnac region of south-west France, aged for 8 years in oak casks. It comes in a 70cl bottle with a tube.
It has a deep amber colour with golden reflections. The nose shows cooked fruit, vanilla and woody notes. On the palate it is balanced and soft, with plum, caramel and sweet spices supported by sweet tannins.
The finish is long and persistent, with chocolate and leather.
