This is a 15 year old Ben Nevis from the Highlands, bottled by Milroy's of Soho for its Soho Selection series in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 30 June 2010 and matured in American oak hogsheads, #700109 and #700110, before bottling on 2 July 2025 at a natural cask strength of 51.3%.
The spirit is characterised as oily and waxy.
The nose combines toasted oak, malt and breakfast cereal with pineapple, banana and melon, plus cinnamon, red berries and coffee grounds. On the palate, tropical notes sit alongside a farmyard earthiness, red berries, cream soda and chilli chocolate. The finish is medium in length, with warming oak, salted caramel and gentle pepper.
