Ben Nevis 23 Year Old is a Highland single malt distilled in 1999 and bottled by Maltman from a single bourbon cask at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose is exotically fruity, with passion fruit, guava and peach. The palate is full-bodied and fairly nutty, with dark chocolate, orange and apricot; a drop of water brings out fudge, sugared almonds and more tropical fruit. The finish is warm and fruity, with subtle spice.
