Ben Wyvis 1972 is a Highland single malt, a distillery bottling made for Munton & Fison. It was distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1989 at a cask strength of 54.4% ABV, in a 75cl bottle supplied in a wooden presentation box. It was distilled from Munton & Fison's peated malt at the Ben Wyvis distillery, which Invergordon built in 1965 on its grain distillery complex. This was the first release from the distillery as a single malt. Ben Wyvis was dismantled in 1977, and its stills were later used by Glengyle.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
