Benriach 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for ten years in a mix of casks, mostly American oak that previously held bourbon. It is bottled at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The fruity style of the distillery shows throughout.
The nose combines green apple, pear, honey and vanilla, with a note of cereal. On the palate it is round and fruity, with orchard fruit, honey, almond and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is medium and fresh, with malt and soft spices.
