BenRiach 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Its casks are mainly ex-bourbon and ex-sherry.
It is a pale, summer-gold malt with a fresh, fruit-led character, in which warm oak spice runs alongside green apple, dried apricot, peach and banana, with touches of aniseed, lemon zest and barley.
On the nose it is crisp and lively, with green orchard fruit, stem ginger and a hint of tangerine, softening to creamy vanilla, a little mint and citrus. The palate opens with toasted oak spice and moves to a long, crisp barley finish.
