BenRiach 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1898 by John Duff.
The whisky is matured in a combination of three cask types: bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks and virgin oak casks. The result is a fruit-forward character with toasted oak spice and a touch of sweetness.
The nose brings green apple, dried apricot, peach and banana, with touches of aniseed, lemon zest and barley. On the palate, orange citrus sits alongside a natural sweetness. The finish is of medium length, with lingering fruit and a little oak spice.
