This is a 10-year-old triple distilled BenRiach, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It was released for travel retail in May 2018 to mark the Spirit of Speyside Festival.
The whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. BenRiach is one of only two Speyside distilleries still malting its own barley on traditional floor maltings.
The nose is fruity and sweet with apple and grape. The palate is fruity too, with pear, apple, cinnamon, spice and floral notes. The finish is long and fruity, with a fine spiciness.
