This is a 12 year old Benriach that leans towards the richer and smokier side of the distillery's spirit.
It was matured in a combination of bourbon, sherry and marsala casks. Each contributes something different: the bourbon and sherry casks add dried fruit and vanilla alongside the peat smoke, while the marsala brings rich, sweet fruit.
