Benriach The Smoky Twelve is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky matured for at least twelve years and bottled at 46% ABV. It is made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit.
Maturation took place in bourbon, sherry and Marsala wine casks, and the whiskies were then married together. It is bottled without added colouring and without chill-filtration.
Soft and creamy, it is described as having ripe fruit, an aromatic smoky sweetness and warming oak spice, ending in a balanced cocoa and orange smoke finish.
