An independent bottling of Benriach single malt from The Whisky Agency. It was distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2020 after 23 years in a sherry butt. The outturn was 427 bottles, each at 50.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is sweet, with apple, apricot and orange over gentle spice. The palate opens fresh with green fruit and ginger, then moves to almond, vanilla and nutmeg. The finish is of medium length, with toasted wood and vanilla.
