This is an 11 year old BenRiach single malt from the Speyside distillery, part of the Cask Edition series, in a 70cl bottle at 56.5% ABV. It is Batch 17 of the 2021 release.
The spirit was distilled on 22 June 2009 and matured in a Pedro Ximenez puncheon. Cask Editions are selected by master blender Dr Rachel Barrie from casks set aside for their individual character.
The colour is copper. The nose shows crème caramel and fresh orange with rich malt and candied vanilla. On the palate there is baked orange and chocolate caramel with brown sugar and chestnut cream.
