Malting Season #02 is a single malt from Benriach in Speyside, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2022 at 48.9%. It is a limited bottling from the Malting Season series, non-chill-filtered and without added colour, in a 70cl bottle supplied in a tube.
The nose offers fresh malt with ripe apple, a delicate honey sweetness and soft floral notes. The palate is full and spicy, with caramelised malt, spices and a restrained fruit acidity. The finish is long and warming, with sweet malt and a hint of oak.
