BenRiach – 21 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

BenRiach 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit. It was matured for at least twenty-one years in four types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks, and the whisky from each was then married together. It is bottled at 46% with natural colour. Long maturation lets the smoke mellow and join the fruit, malt and oak, giving orchard fruit and toasted pine wood, with a honey smoke finish.
