A 21 year old single malt from BenRiach in Speyside, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. BenRiach was built in 1898 and has its own on-site floor maltings.
It is made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit and matured in four types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak and red wine casks.
The nose is described as berry fruit, orchard apple, wild honey and mountain oak spice. On the palate come candied grape, rich cocoa and smoked pine nut, ending with caramelised pear and honey smoke.
