BenRiach 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46%, made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit. It was matured for at least twenty one years in four types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks, with the whisky from each then married together.
The nose brings berry fruit, orchard apple, wild honey and a little oak spice. The palate has candied grape, rich cocoa and smoked pine nut. The finish is long, with caramelised pear and honey smoke.
