BenRiach 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It matured for at least twenty-one years in four types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks, virgin oak casks and Bordeaux red wine casks.
The whisky from each cask type is married together. Over the long maturation the Speyside smoke mellows and blends with fruit, malt and oak.
It is described as layered with orchard fruit and toasted pine wood, ending in a honey smoke finish.
