This is a 27 year old single malt from the BenRiach distillery in Speyside, bottled by Milroy's of Soho in its Vintage Speyside Reserve. It was distilled in 1995, aged in a refill hogshead and bottled in 2023 at its natural cask strength of 42.9% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is unpeated, non-chill filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers floral notes, green apples, poached pears, coconut and tea biscuits. The palate is soft and oily, with profiteroles, caramel, orchard fruit and light wood spice. The finish is dry and clean, with warming oak and a hint of nuttiness.
