A 30 year old single malt from BenRiach, made from peated spirit and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured for at least thirty years in four types of cask: sherry casks, bourbon barrels, virgin oak casks and port casks from the Douro Valley. The whisky from each cask type is then married together. Over the long maturation, the sweet Speyside smoke softens and blends with fruit, malt and oak.
The palate is layered with dark fruits, rich walnut and velvety oak spice, leading to a long, complex finish of smoked honey.
