Benriach – Curiositas 10 Years (70cl, 46%)

Benriach Curiositas 10 Years Old is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. Benriach stands near the Longmorn distillery and was for a time known as Longmorn No. 2. A South African consortium led by Billy Walker, formerly a senior figure at Burn Stewart, bought the site in 2004 after Pernod Ricard had closed it. The previous owners had experimented with peated malt. Walker and his team have since released a wide range of malts, including strongly peated ones, and the malting floors were brought back into use in 2009.
