This is the second edition of BenRiach Malting Season, a small batch Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 48.9% abv. It is made entirely from barley malted on the distillery's own floor maltings, and this release uses Concerto barley malted in the autumn of 2013.
The whisky was distilled in autumn 2013 and matured in first fill bourbon casks. It was made at BenRiach Distillery in Elgin under Master Blender Rachel Barrie, and follows a first edition of around 6,600 bottles.
