BenRiach Peated Cask Strength Batch 1 is a peated single malt bottled at the natural strength of the cask and without chill filtration.
The nose is intense and layered, with peat smoke, ripe apple and pear, cinnamon, clove and toasted oak, and hints of dark chocolate and leather. On the palate, powerful and warm peat comes first, then is balanced by candied fruit, caramel and spice in a rich, creamy texture. The finish is long, with smoky and spicy notes returning along with a pleasant warmth.
