BenRiach Smoke Season is a small-batch Speyside single malt made entirely from peated malt. It is bottled at 52.8% ABV.
The whisky was matured in two stages, in bourbon casks and then virgin oak casks. The virgin oak brings creamy vanilla and warmth, which sit alongside rich sweetness and layers of spice.
Peat smoke runs through the whole dram and lingers, giving a sweet, robust style of smoky Speyside.
