Benriach The Sixteen is a Speyside single malt matured for at least sixteen years, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Benriach was founded in 1898 by John Duff, on the site of the old Riach farm in north Speyside.
The spirit is matured in three types of cask: bourbon barrels, sherry casks and virgin oak casks. The whisky from each is then married together.
Tasting notes describe stone fruit, creamy hazelnut and fragrant spice, finishing with wild honey and candied peel.
