Benriach The Smoky Ten is a ten year old Speyside single malt made from a mix of unpeated and peated spirit. It was matured in three kinds of cask: bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak.
Benriach returned to making whisky from peat-smoked malted barley in the early 1970s, in the style of the 19th century, and the Highland peat brings sweet, smoky notes.
Sunripe fruit, aromatic smoke and toasted oak spice lead to a balanced, sweet and smoky finish.
