The Smoky Ten is a ten-year-old Speyside single malt from Benriach, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from a mix of peated and unpeated spirit.
The whisky was matured for at least ten years in three types of cask: ex-bourbon, Jamaican rum and toasted virgin oak.
The nose combines honey, smoke, apple and oak. On the palate there is smoke again, with apple, pear, clove, peat and a salty note. The finish is of medium length.
