BenRiach The Smoky Twelve is a Speyside single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It combines unpeated and peated whiskies, all matured for at least twelve years in bourbon, sherry and Marsala wine casks.
The whisky from each cask is married to give a smooth, creamy malt. It is natural colour and not chill-filtered.
The nose brings smoked vanilla, charred orange and toasted almonds. The palate has dark chocolate, fruit peel, brown sugar and smoked oak. The finish is of cocoa and smoked oranges.
