Benriach The Twelve is a Speyside single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is matured for at least twelve years in three kinds of cask: sherry casks, bourbon barrels and port casks.
The whisky from each cask is married together into a sherry-rich single malt. It is typically described as layered with baked fruit, maple honey and cocoa, ending in a lingering finish of sultana and spiced mocha.
