Benriach The Twelve is a 12 year old Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It is matured in three kinds of cask: sherry casks, bourbon barrels and port casks. Together they give a fruity, sherry-led character with added sweetness and depth, and there is no smoke in it. The colour is natural.
On the nose there is maple syrup, cocoa and baked forest fruits. The palate brings maraschino cherry, baked orange and hazelnut, and the finish is long, with sultanas and spicy mocha.
